Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned
Inlaid Steel Blade Richards Sheffield England Radiant Golden Age Scissors.  Measures about 6.25” long.  Found at an estate sale.  They are in very good condition with some general wear from use.  The blades are sharp and cut well.
Knives, scissors, etc. were made by Richards Bros. of Sheffield, England. The company was founded in the 1930s by two German brothers whose name was actually Richartz. They came from Solingen (Germany's equivalent to Sheffield for cutlery manufacturers) and the brothers Paul and Stefan changed the firm's name to Richards just before the Second World War. Their original factory was badly damaged in the war and in 1946 they moved to a large new building where they made a wide range of mass-produced cutlery, penknives, scissors, etc., and the brothers amassed a considerable fortune. Richards was bought out in 1977 by the Imperial Knife Company of the U.S.A. and closed a few years later.

If it looks like a stain, nick, or fading in the photographs then it probably is, but I believe the condition of these items is part of their charm.

Shipping is offered within the continental USA. Preferred shipping carriers include USPS, UPS and FedEx.

Return Policy:
Returns are accepted if notified promptly after receipt of the item and the item is not being sold as is. The item must be returned in its original condition within 30 days (i.e., unopened, tags attached, etc.). The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, except in the case of damaged or defective items.
