As is the case with many old steel scissors, the black paint is mostly worn off the handles of these
vintage
right-handed
Betakut Kingshead 9 inch dressmakers scissors, made in Italy.
In addition, some chrome thinning or loss is evident to the outside of the blades, and the inside of the blades shows oxidation and staining/discoloration. Yet these scissors are strong, clean, tight, and sharp, and were made when scissors were supposed to last. So they still cut paper and thinner fabric (see photo of dishtowel) well. Seller asks, "does it really matter what scissors look like, so long as they do the job?" Even so, these scissors must be offered here
"as-is."
